Dr. Mina T. Gabor, then Secretary of Tourism, founded the organization during the time of President Ramos. The Philsmed Foundation is trusted by international grant giving entities and is accredited as a non-government organization (NGO). A member of the World Association for Small & Medium Enterprises (WASME).
